About This Event

Kidney Pie is a theatrical production that follows one woman's quest to understand her body through finding the missing piece of her pie. The performance will take place at Barons Court Theatre in London on 3 November 2026 at 19:30.

Kidney Pie is a new play written and staged by Rua Barron as part of the long running Voila London Theatre Festival. It tells the remarkable story of the writer's complex relationship with her damaged kidneys that she lost at a very young age. Join her on her quest to understand her body through finding the missing piece of her 'Pie'. This talented and creative team of next generation theatre makers invite audiences to embrace the strange, uncomfortable, and often humorous realities of being human. They combine original music and songs while exploring themes around understanding one's body that does not always feel like your own.  .
