The event is called the Lee Green Open Studios, and we will visiting private homes to see art from many artists. After lunch we will start going around to the different venues, ending up back at Hither Green Station. There is also an opportunity to go into a prize draw once we have been to 10 venues. {There has been members who have brought their friends along, and 2 people in different years have won £100 to spend on the art in the artists homes.} This is also an ideal opportunity to buy Christmas presents as some members do. Every year local artists in the Lee Green area have an open house event and some people travel long distances to come and see their work. Here you can look at and buy their work, and have a glass of wine in nibbles in some houses.
