Lelia is a 23-year-old British artist and producer with Latin American/Italian roots, based in

East-London and one of the most distinctive emerging voices in the capital’s underground.

Fusing post-disco sensuality with electro-clash bite, her sound is built on thick synth bass,

jagged percussion and bold confrontational lyrics. Erotic and darkly playful, her songs move

between desire and destruction with touchstones in Lady Gaga, LCD Soundsystem and PJ

Harvey.

Lelia’s debut album Dark Disco is an exploration of existentialism, sex and dance. Heavily

influenced by her experience as a Gen Z woman, it’s a purging of her generation’s complex

modern experience and a rallying cry to return to the days of uncomplicated dating and

dancing, of enjoying youth in the heady, unencumbered way previous generations could.

Lelia leads the listener into her darkly glamourous world, part imagined, part real

experiences, where desire becomes rhythm and performances revolution.
