Take your bike maintenance skills to the next level with an evening of practical learning, troubleshooting and pizza with LILA!

Ready to take your bike maintenance skills to the next level? 🔧💜

We're heading back to The Workshop in Barnes for another evening of bike maintenance and pizza, this time diving a little deeper into the mechanics of your bike.

This session is designed for those who already feel comfortable with the basics but want to better understand how their bike works, identify common issues and feel more confident making adjustments and repairs themselves.

What we'll cover:

Understanding gear indexing and how to adjust your gears

Troubleshooting skipping or poorly shifting gears

Brake maintenance and identifying worn brake pads

How to identify and fix brake rubbing

Checking chain wear and understanding drivetrain maintenance

Tubeless tyre maintenance and puncture repairs

Identifying common mechanical issues and unusual bike noises

We'll start the evening with pizza from Franco Manca at 6:30pm, followed by the workshop at 7pm.

There'll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and build on your existing knowledge, helping you feel more confident keeping your bike running smoothly.

You're welcome to bring your own bike to practise on, but it's not essential! There'll be space to safely store your bike at the venue throughout the evening.

Looking forward to another evening of learning new skills with the LILA community! 💜
