London Ragas presents an evening of Hindustani classical music featuring Pandit Ajay Prasanna on bansuri and Kayam Hussain on tabla. Pandit Ajay Prasanna is a bansuri artist of the Banaras Gharana and continues the musical legacy of his father, Pandit Bholanath Prasanna. He has received multiple Grammy nominations and has performed internationally, including recent collaborations with Gorillaz. He will be accompanied by tabla artist Kayam Hussain, son and disciple of Ustad Shahbaz Hussain. The programme will present the tradition of Hindustani classical music through the combination of bansuri and tabla in an intimate concert setting as part of the London Ragas series.
