Meet active angel investors, early-stage VCs and family offices at a curated startup fundraising event in central London.

Hosted by Entrepreneurs Collective with Alator Capital, London Startup Speed Pitch brings together five to six selected pre-seed and seed-stage founders with approximately 15 to 20 investors for focused, small-group conversations.

Unlike a traditional startup pitch competition, there is no stage, screen or lengthy presentation. Each founder presents their business several times, rotating between investor groups and answering questions after every pitch.

The emphasis is on clarity, investor relevance and meaningful conversations.

Date: Tuesday 8 September 2026

Time: 6.00pm to 9.00pm

Location: Central London

The event will take place in a private event space at a central London venue. The exact location and arrival instructions will only be shared with confirmed attendees.

The Speed Pitch format

Five to six selected startup founders

Approximately 15 to 20 angel investors, early-stage VCs and family offices

Three-minute founder pitch

Three-minute investor Q&A

Founders rotate between each investor group

Informal drinks and networking afterwards

Please arrive on time, as the pitching rotations will begin promptly.

For startup founders

This event is designed for post-MVP businesses with early commercial traction that are actively raising or preparing to raise.

It is particularly suited to startups that:

Are EIS eligible

Are already generating revenue

Can demonstrate meaningful commercial traction

Are raising at pre-seed or seed stage

Are seeking up to £250,000 from participating investors

The total fundraising round may be larger where the remaining investment has already been pledged.

Founder participation fee: £1,500 + VAT

A 5% success fee applies to funds raised from investors attending this paid Speed Pitch event or from angels introduced through Entrepreneurs Collective. Full terms will be confirmed before participation.

Founder places are limited and subject to selection.

Founders should not register using an Investor ticket. An Investor ticket does not secure a pitching place, and the registration will be cancelled.

The evening provides direct access to a small group of selected pre-seed and seed-stage businesses actively raising investment.

Who can attend?

This is not a general business networking event.

Attendance is reserved for selected pitching founders and active investors. Registrations from service providers or individuals primarily seeking to sell professional services will be cancelled, and entry may be refused.

All registrations are reviewed to protect the quality and relevance of the room. Participation does not guarantee investment.
