Although HotLap officially launched in late 2024, UK-based producers Chris Mears and Joris Mur are hardly new to the scene. With over 15 years of combined experience in music production and songwriting, the duo brings a heavyweight pedigree to their immersive blend of Afro house, Berlin minimal, melodic house, and techno. Their distinct sound - equal parts emotional and club-ready - has quickly earned them early support from tastemakers like Adriatique, CamelPhat, Carlita, Fideles, Cristoph, and Eli & Fur.

Behind HotLap are two extraordinary musical talents. Chris Mears, a 2016 Olympic gold medalist, has transitioned seamlessly from world-class athlete to world-class producer, penning hits such as Bad Memories by Meduza, All Nighter by Tiësto, and This Feeling by Vintage Culture. Alongside Joris Mur, whose songwriting credits include global hits for Goodboys, Imanbek, and Alok, the duo brings an exceptional musical pedigree to the dancefloor.

On November 28, Lone Collective and Es Cubells welcome HotLap to London for an unforgettable night at 77. Expect hypnotic grooves, euphoric melodies, and an electrifying journey through the deeper, more powerful sounds of electronic music. With their unique blend of emotion and energy, HotLap are set to deliver a night you won't want to miss.
