About Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! at the Novello Theatre, London, is a musical built around ABBA’s songs and the story of a mother, a daughter and three possible fathers on a Greek island.

Since opening in London’s West End over 25 years ago, the show has been seen by more than 70 million people worldwide. It has also been adapted into two films, MAMMA MIA! and MAMMA MIA! Here We Go Again.

The production mixes the story with familiar ABBA numbers, making it a straightforward choice if you are looking for a long-running musical with a clear storyline and well-known music.

Key facts: Running time 2 hours 35 minutes including one interval. Performances run Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm, with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 3.00pm.

Before you book

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under 16 must be accompanied by, and sat next to, a ticketholder aged at least 18. Children under 3 will not be admitted.

This production contains flashing lights. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. No refunds or exchanges are available after purchase.
