Mask In Faith is a powerful reflection on resilience, faith, and community in times of crisis. Through raw, authentic stories, this documentary captures how people found hope amid lockdowns, loss, and uncertainty, relying on faith and the church to endure during COVID-19.

Mask In Faith is produced by HERC Media, the media arm of Hackney Evangelical Reformed Church. Established to extend the church’s mission beyond the walls of worship, HERC Media engages both the church family and the wider community through digital storytelling that preserves and amplifies stories of faith, resilience, and community.

The documentary marks the directorial debut of Samuel Obafemi, with Pearl Okeke as Executive Producer. Together with the wider production team, they have crafted a powerful and authentic reflection on how individuals and communities found hope, strength, and purpose through faith and the church during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.

Through raw and personal stories, Mask In Faith captures the resilience of ordinary people navigating lockdowns, loss, and uncertainty, while highlighting the enduring role of faith and community in times of crisis.
