About This Event

MINOR DENTS, SONS OF VILJEMS, and WOODEN TAPE will perform on 12 December 2026 at Folklore Hoxton in London. Minor Dents will celebrate their album release, while Sons of Viljems will showcase their 2024 album. Wooden Tape will present his second album, reflecting on childhood memories of Liverpool.

MINOR DENTS:

Holly Finch on vocals and bass, Ryan Bollard on drums and Al Strachan on keys, cornet and electronics. Using tiny, precise pushes and taps, Minor Dents slowly restore you back to your original space and position. MD are very good live. The band is celebrating their album release on Disasters By Choice.

SONS OF VILJEMS:

Last few shows playing their 2024 album Lithospheric Melodies for Sons of Viljems. The band has toured in Europe and collaborated with great Psych acts such as Flowers Must Die and Marlene Ribeiro. SOV are thrilled to share the stage with label mates Minor Dents and the wonderful Wooden Tape.

WOODEN TAPE:

Tim Maycox aka Wooden Tape, releases his 2nd album on God Unknown Records and follows on from 2023's 'Music From Another Place' This album is a sonic photo album of childhood memories of Liverpool in the 1970's. A personal mythology, soundtracked by synth pads, chiming acoustic guitars and looped and treated percussion.
