George Nelson's Parliamentary award-winning Moment’s Notice, continues to showcase the finest spontaneous composers. Each episode consists of one duo and one trio playing live, fully-improvised sets. The evening culminates with a combo quintet set. A guiding principle is that combinations are improvising together for the very first time.

Exploring new sonic territories on Wednesday, November 18th will be the celestial duo of synth sorcerer, Danalogue (Comet is Coming, Soccer 96, Flock), and Austrian-Ethiopian harpist, Miriam Adefris (Floating Points, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson). Next to will be an exciting trio of rapper-poet Dr Chima Anya (Slone, Soulchef), Vocalist-Trombonist Richie (Kokoroko, Solange) and drummer, Luke McCarthy (Ankora).

Line-ups are curated by event creator and acclaimed photographer, George Nelson and Moment’s Notice’s alumini is truly astonishing. It includes Saul Williams, Kae Tempest, Shabaka, Linda May Han Oh, Courtney Pine, Matana Roberts, Momoko Gill, Ben Lamar Gay, Soweto Kinch, Norma Winstone, Femi Koleoso, Mike Ladd, Cassie Kinoshi, Yazz Ahmed and Joshua Idehen.
