**Come offline and meet new people through relaxed, guided conversations that go beyond the usual small talk.** **More Than Small Talk** **Ever been at a social where you want to meet new people, but somehow end up having the same “So, what do you do?” conversation five times?** **More Than Small Talk is a conversation social for people in their 20s & 30s who simply enjoy talking, sharing ideas, hearing different perspectives and meeting new people.** **We'll be taking over a cosy space in a London bar for an afternoon of guided conversation in small groups. You'll be seated at tables of around 4–6 people, with conversation cards there to get things going.** **The questions can take you anywhere. Some are thoughtful, some are curious, some might spark a light debate and others are just fun. You decide how deep or light you want your conversations to be! There's no pressure to share anything you don't want to.** **Every 25 minutes, our host will ring the bell and the tables will rotate, giving you a new group of people to talk to. Across four rounds, you'll have the chance to meet plenty of different faces from a wider group of people.** **This isn't therapy, networking or dating. It's simply a space for good, human conversation that goes a little further than the usual small talk. You choose how much you want to share and where the conversation takes you.** **Come curious, listen to each other, share your perspective and be open to hearing someone else's. Kindness and respect are an integral part of this social.** **🍻 Drinks** **The bar has kindly allowed us to use their space. If you can, we'd encourage you to grab a drink from the bar while you're there and support the venue that makes events like this possible.** **And when the structured part finishes, there's no need to rush off.
