About This Event

MUBI FEST will feature the London Premiere of the documentary NUISANCE BEAR on 15 November 2026 at Hackney Picturehouse, followed by a Q&A with the director and producer. The film explores the challenges faced by a polar bear navigating a human-dominated world. MUBI FEST runs from 13 to 15 November, showcasing various films and talks.

Don’t miss the London Premiere of Jack Weisman and Gabriela Osio Vanden’s documentary NUISANCE BEAR – winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance – followed by a live Q&A with the director Jack Weisman and producer Teddy Leifer. A MUBI Release.

A polar bear is forced to navigate a human world of tourists, wildlife officers, and hunters as its ancient migration collides with modern life. When a sacred predator is branded a nuisance, it becomes unclear who truly belongs in this shared landscape.

MUBI FEST comes to London November 13-15. Great cinema, exclusive talks, live music, and more.
