The Nature Spotting Challenge is an outdoors event at Osterley Park and House in London, featuring a free activity where visitors can spot nature and complete a challenge.
These warmer months, explore Osterley a little differently by challenging yourself to spot some nature!
Bird Bingo! Challenge yourself to tick off 5 birds in a row (vertically or horizontally) that you spot at Osterley Park. Make sure you check the garden, lake and meadows!
We have binoculars to help you (limited number to one per group) find and identify the right bird.
Once you complete your Bingo (can be over more than one visit to Osterley, so don't rush) you will be given your very own Bird Bingo Certificate!
Please keep your distance from the birds and try not to disturb them, especially if they have chicks.
Hunt for mini beast (bugs and insects)! We have a list of 'mini beast' for you to try and find along the long walk. Borrow one of our magnifying glasses to help you spot them! (limited to one per group).
Remember, you are a giant compared to most of these little beasts and birds so be gentle. Some bugs can only live in certain places, so put them where you found them. Please keep out of the flower beds and vegetable patch.
Have fun!
