Night Tempo lands at Hootananny Brixton! 🌃

A Korean producer and DJ who emerged from the internet-born Future Funk scene, Night Tempo has built a worldwide following by transforming the sounds of ’80s Japanese pop and City Pop into infectious dancefloor cuts.

His re-edit of Mariya Takeuchi’s cult classic “Plastic Love” became a viral hit online, helping fuel the global resurgence of Japanese City Pop. A devoted collector of Showa-era cassette tapes and an admirer of artists including Toshiki Kadomatsu and Daft Punk, Night Tempo has become one of the key figures introducing this sound to a new generation.

Now Night Tempo brings his unmistakable blend of Future Funk, City Pop, disco and Japanese pop nostalgia to Brixton for a very special show at Hootananny.

Expect an infectious, nostalgia-fuelled trip through Japanese pop culture and late-night dancefloor sounds. 🇯🇵🪩
