This special gig sees the North London Jazz Collective return to Jazz In Kentish Town to continue their collaboration with supremely talented fellow travellers from overseas. Co-founder of the NLJC, London drummer Robbie Ellison teams up with Paul Sikivie, the NYC-based titan of the double bass - fresh from Samara Joy's band; former London resident Ofer Landsberg, a world-class guitarist who has shared the bandstand with bebop giants such as Frank Hewitt & Jimmy Lovelace; and lynchpin of the Parisian scene and co-founder of the Zoot Collectif, extraordinary saxophonist Neil Saidi, who last played at the Bull & Gate to a sold out audience with The Jazz International in 2025.

Expect swinging grooves, pretty chords, elegant melodies, and big vibes!

North London Jazz Collective (NLJC) brings together some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians, spanning swing, bebop, trad, manouche, fusion and contemporary jazz. Based in London with an international outlook, NLJC presents vibrant performances, social dances, jam sessions and collaborative projects, featuring both established and emerging artists. From intimate clubs to major festivals, NLJC celebrates the high quality, diversity and community of today’s jazz scene.
