Professionals and volunteers working across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington are invited to come together to prevent suicide.

Suicide is a tragic event that has devastating impacts on our community. In the public and third sector, we are uniquely placed to support those who are most vulnerable. People from all walks of life and experiences can face suicidal thoughts, and it is our responsibility to ensure that no matter who they share their feelings with, they can expect high quality and compassionate support.

The theme for our first conference is Connecting the Pieces: How can we work more effectively as a whole system to reduce suicide risk, improve pathways and reach underserved communities? This recognises that in North Central London, we have a variety of brilliant services and offers for our residents, but we can work together to make sure these offers are part of one cohesive system.

We will be inviting guest speakers and panellists from across the suicide prevention sector to share their expertise, as well as create plenty of opportunities to explore ways in which their services can offer support to people experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Vegetarian/Vegan Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
