Lets go with the flow and do this wonderful 11 mile walk in deepest Essex along the idyllic remote River Crouch ! A delightful tranquil peaceful almost surreal walk in open countryside that is mostly by the sea wall. Please arrive by 9am meeting in front of platform 10 so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets to Burnham on Crouch and we shall take the train at 9.33am arriving at North Fambridge at 10.29am after changing at Wickford and the walk shall commence immediately. Train ticket : Burnham on Crouch return. Or you may decide to drive. Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Saturday by bank transfer in advance, details available upon request. Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/ trainers/boots. You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity. We shall aim to be back in London by 6.15pm.
