About Paddington The Musical

Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre brings one of Britain’s best-loved characters to the stage in a major new production. Based on the characters from Michael Bond’s books and the award-winning films, it tells the story of a small bear from Peru who arrives in London in search of a new home and meets the Brown family in Windsor Gardens.

The production follows Paddington as his new life in London becomes more complicated, and the Browns are pushed to decide how far they are prepared to go to help him. It is directed by Luke Sheppard, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale.

The show features a cast-led retelling of the story, with Paddington’s world brought to life on stage through songs and choreography. It is recommended for ages 6+.

Running time: 2 hours 45 minutes. Age guidance: recommended for ages 6+. Accessible performances: BSL on 20 September 2026 at 2pm and 14 March 2027 at 2pm; audio described on 13 September 2026 at 2pm and 7 March 2027 at 2pm; relaxed on 11 September 2026 at 6pm and 7 May 2027 at 7pm.

Before you book

Guests aged 4-104 are welcome, but no admission is allowed for children under 3 and babes in arms are not permitted. Guests under 16 must be seated next to an accompanying adult aged 18 or over, and all guests attending, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket.

Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare and Jasper Rowse share the role of Jonathan Brown.
