About Paddington The Musical

Paddington The Musical at the Savoy Theatre brings Michael Bond’s character to the stage in a new production. It follows a small bear from Peru as he arrives in London looking for a home, before a chance encounter with the Brown family leads him to Windsor Gardens.

The story shows that London is not all cream teas and friendly faces, and that even the happiest families have cracks beneath the surface. When Paddington’s life is put in peril, the Browns must decide how far they are willing to go, and what they are willing to risk, to give him a home.

The musical is based on the characters from Michael Bond’s books and the award-winning films. It is directed by Luke Sheppard, with original music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher and a book by Olivier Award-winner Jessica Swale.

This production is recommended for ages 6 and over. No admission is permitted for children under 3, and babes in arms are not permitted. Guests under 16 must be seated next to an accompanying adult aged 18 or over. All guests attending, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket.

The role of Jonathan Brown is played by Joseph Bramley, Leo Collon, Stevie Hare and Jasper Rowse.
