A guided walk of this lesser known south London Victorian cemetery exploring fascinating stories of some incredible people
From artists and entertainers, to campaigners, criminals and people who settled in London from around the world. Join Lambeth historian, Tracey Gregory, to explore the stories of some of the fascinating people laid to rest in Lambeth Cemetery and find out why Lambeth Cemetery is in Tooting
Tracey runs the Loughborough Road Histories Project. Her fascination with Lambeth Cemetery began through her research into orchid artist Nelly Roberts, who lived her whole life on Loughborough Road. Four years ago, Tracey helped to champion Nelly’s legacy, unveiling a plaque on her previously unmarked grave in the cemetery.
Nelly will be just on of the people whose story will be told.
