The launch party for POSTPOSTPOST's Vol II and Justin Urbach's project PALE LIGHT//EYES SHONE will take place at The Bacon Factory in London on 13 November 2026. The event will include a talk and a DJ set.
Autotelic Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of POSTPOSTPOST's Vol II, and Justin Urbach's latest project PALE LIGHT//EYES SHONE.
POSTPOSTPOST Vol. II
There used to be the clinical couch and the stripper pole. Now, the whole world is a stage and there is nothing left to bare. Join POSTPOSTPOST for their usual devirtualization hangout, but this time featuring a talk with renowned psychoanalyst and philosopher Dr Isabel Millar who will live-roast the publication’s co-editors, followed by a DJ set until late.
PALE LIGHT//EYES SHONE
The evening also features the debut screening of Justin Urbach’s PALE LIGHT//EYES SHONE (2026). Commissioned by Autotelic Foundation, the new work takes the form a three-channel video installation. The work is a sci-fi journey where bodies, machines, and landscapes constantly reshape one another. Three “Agents” enter a virtual production studio, using cameras, sensors, movement, and a giant circular LED wall to build and transform a world between reality and simulation. One Agent calibrates and awakens the space; another races through digital landscapes on a motorcycle, turning movement into energy; a third archives what remains in a mysterious cratered landscape. Blending thermal vision, point clouds, glitches, and cinematic imagery, the film reveals how technology shapes what we see—and how we shape the worlds around us.
PALE LIGHT//EYES SHONE will continue screening into Saturday 14 November, from 12pm to 6pm. No registration needed.
Commissioned by Autotelic Foundation, produced by FineLine Film, and financially supported by FilmFernsehFonds Bayern and Max Goelitz Gallery.
Agenda
Doors open at 6PM. The talk starts at 7:30PM, followed by DJ sets from Nihal El Aasar and Chooc Ly. Drinks available.
