About This Event

The Principal Designer course runs online on 8 October 2026 at 12:30. It is designed to help participants meet professionally agreed standards, with prices of £470+VAT for members, £590+VAT for non-members and £175+VAT for students.

This course helps you develop the skills, knowledge, and experience required to meet professionally agreed standards while gaining a clear understanding of what competence looks like for the Principal Designer role and how to demonstrate it in practice. Through a structured framework, you will learn to navigate key regulations and their background within a real-world context, equipping you to apply Principal Designer responsibilities effectively across a wide range of project types, including those involving domestic clients. This eight-module series will be delivered by leading experts including Nigel Ostime (Ostime Consulting and Hawkins\Brown), Joan McCoy (White Ink), Paul Bussey (AHMM Architects), and many others. Learners will have live opportunities to ask questions and gain clarity directly from the course leaders.
