About the venue: A live-music cocktail bar on Archer Street, rated 3.4 from around 950 reviews and mid-priced. It opens at 4pm and runs to 1am Monday to Thursday, and is closed on Sundays. The format is distinctive: performers sing throughout the evening, which reviewers overwhelmingly praise but which does make sustained conversation harder than in a standard bar. Getting there: About as central as London gets.
