Children between 6.5 to 15 years (under an ECF standard rating of 1200) are welcome – they would need to know the basic rules of chess, how all pieces move & be able to checkmate.

Each day has two sessions: in the first half (10am to 12.30pm) we do group coaching where children learn key concepts, participate in interactive puzzles, learn tactics, practise friendly games with clocks. In the second half (1 to 3pm) we run timed tournament with clocks. Lunch break between 12.30 to 1pm & a snack break around 2.30pm.

A packed lunch, snacks (without any nuts) and a water bottle is recommended to be in children’s camp bag.
