R&B Block Party Presents Jacquees + Karri & Girlfriend with More to be announced!

R&B Block Party are excited to introduce Girlfriend who is emerging as a distinct voice in R&B, blending heartfelt storytelling with soulful melodies and we feel is one of the next up in R&B! Born Kenya Edwards, Girlfriend is a Mississippi native who grew up immersed in music, developing her own sound and songs became her mission at the age of 16. Her music feels deeply personal yet universal, touching on the experiences and emotions that are often hard to put into words. Girlfriend is here to sing about the moments we all share but aren’t always able to voice. Starting from a place of vulnerability, this young artist channels her healing power through her music, offering listeners a safe and reflective space. Her choice of the name Girlfriend reflects this vision. “I want to be the person people feel they can turn to—their safe space, their mirror,” she explains. “When you listen to my music, I want you to feel like I’m right there with you, understanding what you’re going through.” We welcome Girlfriend to join an ever growing line-up at the O2Forum Kentish Town X R&B Block Party!!

Whether you’ve been following Jacquees, Karri & Girlfriend from the beginning, or you’re discovering their music for the first time, this is a chance to see them live alongside a selection of incredible Acts for an unmissable night of R&B.
