What happens to ambition when life changes and who helps us find our way forward?

To mark Black History Month 2026 and its theme, Honouring Our Communities, the Now You’re Talking Network is partnering with Skyscanner for a special evening exploring ambition, change and the power of the communities around us.

We often talk about ambition as an individual pursuit: set the goal, work hard and keep moving forward. But careers and lives rarely follow a straight line.

Motherhood. Caring responsibilities. Health challenges. Unexpected opportunities. Personal transitions. Sometimes life requires us to pause, pivot or completely reconsider what success looks like.

And often, it is the people around us who make that next chapter possible.

Through two candid panel conversations, Redefining Ambition will bring together inspiring individuals to explore how our definition of ambition evolves through different seasons of life and the role that family, friends, colleagues, mentors, professional networks and wider communities can play in helping us navigate change.

Expect delicious networking drinks, food and a welcoming environment.
