The Sketchbook event at the British Museum invites participants to sketch within the museum's premises. Attendees will gather in the main foyer and have the opportunity to share their drawings later in the day. This informal gathering encourages creativity and exploration of the museum's exhibits.
Lets sketch inside the BM! Let’s all meet in the main foyer just after you enter and go through security. I'll wait for about 15/20 minutes there for any latecomers. Afterwards we can then meet back at 1pm and compare drawings and grab a cup o tea at the cafe If the weather looks rubbish I will think of somewhere else to go and let you know. Nearest Tube Stop: Russell Square Completely free of charge, no need to sign up, bring a friend. Feel free to drop in for the whole two hours or just short while if you'd prefer. Look for the tall ginger fella with a sketchbook as an indicator of the meetup spot, but feel free to roam as far and wide as you like and sketch anything you damn well please! Please bring your own sketchbooks and pens/pencils. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- About Sketchbook London Every week we will choose a location around the magnificent city of London and draw people, buildings, pigeons, bins, anything you want.... Zero pressure to interact, network, impress in any way, this is just a way to get out and about and appreciate the joy of urban sketching and all the weird and wonderful creatures that inhabit this thriving metropolis. I am a storyboard artist working in animation and I am happy to discuss sketching techniques or give feedback on any work but this is by no means an exclusive event for artists, all are welcome :) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- ## Sketchbook London Meetup Code of Conduct **Everyone is welcome.** We aim to provide a friendly, inclusive and respectful space to sketch, learn and meet others.
