Join us in London for a deep dive into various aspects of contemporary China, including foreign policy, the New Cold War, and AI/technology

Following the success of our two previous conferences, Friends of Socialist China will mark the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with our third annual Socialist China Conference, on Saturday 3 October, 10:30am–5pm, in London.

Location: Cypriot Community Centre, Earlham Grove, Wood Green, London N22 5HJ.

The event is organised by Friends of Socialist China, with support from a number of progressive organisations including the Morning Star, Communist Party of Britain, Workers Party of Britain, Communist Party of Ireland, International Manifesto Group, Student Federation of India UK, Black Liberation Alliance, AKEL in Britain, Iskra Books, Praxis Press, Manifesto Press, Caribbean Labour Solidarity, Third World Solidarity, No 2 NATO, Birmingham People’s History Archive, Labour Affairs Magazine, Mushtarek, and Institute for Independence Studies.

In addition to opening and closing rallies, there will be panels discussions on:

Book launch: China's foreign policy and the making of a multipolar world
