**NEW WALK Hi all, cost & info below.** **This walk is only once every 2 years.** Please join everyone for a fun linear, healthy, scenic 4.5 mile walk with some brief local info along the way while meeting new friends! ***Highlights are*** a unique opportunity as a meetup group to see 'The House Of Dreams' (pictured), an outstanding private home that has appeared on countless documentaries and main news programs. The House of Dreams has been bequeathed to the National Trust and the National Trust works closely with Stephen. There is usually a charge of £12 per person but we have a discount so it's £10 per person! The cost is £17.50 per person which includes the visit to the house collected at the start of the walk, sold as a packaged discount! 'The House of Dreams' is 3 minutes from East Dulwich Station at the very end of the walk, with the house being our final stop. Drinks & meals available afterward at the nearby gorgeous pub near the station to chat & socialise with fellow members! The home is open just for us as a meetup group. It is a small home so we will have to split into 2 groups for a better experience looking around without too many people. A 15-20 mins space between the 2 groups. cafes & shops very nearby & pub opposite for those members who on the second visit. Other highlights are a beautiful stunning walk, West Norwood cemetery (one of the Victorian magnificent 7) with graves of Henry Tate (Tate and Lyle sugar) Henry Doulton (Doulton pottery), the last toll gate in London, a beautiful stop at the halfway stage for 20-30 minutes for toilets and refreshments and drinks and meal after in a gorgeous pub by the station at the end of the walk!
