Bonjour, This is going a be a walk, and eventually a social get together, from Tower bridge to Battersea Park, all along the Riverside on Thames. If you want to have a tranquil, social Sunday afternoon, do come along. About the walk: The first bit would be bustling with people until The Westminster Abbey view across the river, after which things quieten down and the walk becomes a bit more peaceful. There are ample opportunities to take pictures in between, if you want to feel like a tourist, or just trudge along with your head down, if you just want a scenic, Sunday walk. There is little to no elevation but the walk is about 7 miles and flat all the way. Also, it's very well connected to tubes, buses and train stations all the way. We will be going at a slow to moderate pace, so as to enjoy the walk without it being too challenging. This is a very beginners friendly walk, to ensure we have enough energy for the social get together after. Walking shoes are recommended, with a couple litres of water but there'll be shops in between in case someone forgets :) Battersea park is a great place for a picnic, but we can stop at Battersea power station, as well, if people feel like. After which, we'll head to a local pub and chill. Place yet to be decided but I'm open to suggestions Please note that this event is free of charge to attend.
