About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre is a musical comedy by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of South Park. It won four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical, and tells the story of two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda.

What they expect to be a straightforward mission quickly becomes something else as they encounter harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord. The show combines all-singing, all-dancing comedy with themes that touch on religion and consumerism, alongside the kind of sharp, explicit humour the production is known for.

Music is by Robert Lopez. Reviews quoted with the production describe it as one of the funniest shows in the West End.

Before you book

This production contains strobe lighting, flashing lights, gunshots and explicit language. Children under 3 will not be admitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by, and seated next to, a ticketholder aged at least 18.

Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. No food or drink purchased elsewhere may be brought into the theatre. There are no exchanges or refunds after purchase.
