About This Event

Cruel Season is a Liverpool-based alt-indie band consisting of Arran O’Connell-Whittle, Carl Dillon, Dylan Robert and Josh Higgins. They will appear at The Deaf Institute in London.

Cruel Season is a new Liverpool-based alt-indie band formed by Arran O’Connell-Whittle, Carl Dillon, Dylan Robert and Josh Higgins.

Arran, Carl and Josh previously played together in The Night Café, a band that built a loyal following through acclaimed releases, years of touring and sold out shows across the UK and beyond. After spending time away from music, they returned to the rehearsal room and formed Cruel Season with Dylan Robert.

Built on friendship, shared history and a desire to keep making music together, the project marks a new chapter for the Liverpool musicians.

The band release first single Crawl on July 31st. Recorded with long time collaborator Rob Whiteley, debut single Crawl introduces the band through emotionally honest songwriting and a restless energy that explores connection, distance and uncertainty.”

September will see Cruel Season play their first-ever live shows, with a debut run of headline dates across the UK.
