Vienna-based duo The Devil & the Universe will bring their distinctive fusion of tribal drums, eighties electronica, and industrial beats to Nambucca on Friday 13 November. Their sound, steeped in Middle Eastern percussion and cinematic atmospheres, originated from a tarot reading conducted with Aleister Crowley’s deck. The performance evokes the sensation of a future that never came to pass, built on layered rhythms and dark, enveloping textures. The evening will also include sets from special guests. Tickets are priced at twenty pounds.
