As Jay-Z headlines two huge concerts at our local stadium this weekend, we're celebrating with an Old Skool Block Party Weekender at The Elmhurst, bringing classic party vibes to Tottenham across Friday and Saturday.

Kicking things off on Friday 4th September, we're delighted to welcome DJ Swerve for a special late-night old skool party set, spinning the very best in Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, Boogie, Disco and R&B.

With almost 30 years in the music industry, London-based DJ and producer Swerve has built a formidable reputation on both the club circuit and the airwaves. His first musical love was 80s Rap, but his collection has grown to embrace Soul, Funk, Boogie, Disco and R&B, with a lifelong passion for digging deep into vinyl. Today he continues to champion wax through his acclaimed Steam Room Disco sessions alongside contemporary digital sets.

Swerve also spent 20 years as a broadcaster on Kiss FM and remains an influential voice through guest mixes, his monthly HoneyDip show on The BoAT Pod, and his LoveThingLDN interview series. His latest release on Rook Records, Rook 003, features four expertly crafted edits, including Afro and Disco reworks.

Expect a proper old skool block party atmosphere with quality music, great drinks and late-night party vibes.
