Join Joshua for a unique workshop - perfect for whether you’re taking your first dance class or ready to challenge yourself with one of the most iconic choreographies ever performed.

Part 1: Learning Michael's Craft

6:00 PM – 6:45 PM

All Ages | Beginners welcome

Learn the foundations of Michael’s movement style: signature techniques, famous moves (including the moonwalk and spins), body language, musicality, stage presence and mannerisms. We’ll break down short sections of iconic choreography in a clear, easy-to-follow way.

Part 2: Learning the Billie Jean Introduction

6:45 PM – 8:00 PM

Recommended for dancers with some experience (beginners who love a challenge are welcome)

Learn the most iconic sections of the legendary Billie Jean Introduction, taught the way Joshua has learned and performed it as a tribute artist. This is a tribute-performance adaptation, not an exact recreation of the original.

What to Bring

Flat-soled shoes (loafers recommended – no shoes that mark the floor)

Water bottle

Optional: a fedora

Comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in (full MJ costumes not recommended)

Practical Info

Check in with Joshua in the foyer at 5:45 pm with the same name used on your Eventbrite booking.

Workshops take place in Dance Studio

Arrive around the start time of your booked class

No filming or recording during the workshop

No food in the studio (water bottles fine)

Tickets are for dancers only – not for spectators
