Step into the heart of the Kent Downs National Landscape for a spectacular 26-kilometre circular journey that showcases the absolute best of the Darent Valley. This route is designed for hikers who love the thrill of a good climb and the deep satisfaction of breathtaking, far-reaching views across the English countryside. We begin our day in the historic village of Otford, immediately ascending Otford Mount to gain the ridge. From here, our trail sweeps through the serene, high-level woodlands of Kemsing and West Kingsdown. As the day progresses, we will enjoy a long, beautiful descent into the highly picturesque village of Shoreham, crossing the crystal-clear River Darent.
