About The Producers

The Producers at the Garrick Theatre is the first major London revival of Mel Brooks’ musical adaptation of The Producers, transferring to the West End after a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Based on the classic cult film, it is the original Broadway production that won a record twelve Tony Awards.

The show follows down-on-his-luck Broadway producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they scheme to create the biggest flop in theatre history, only for the plan to backfire spectacularly. It is a sharp musical comedy that takes aim at Broadway traditions.

Critically acclaimed principals Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Andy Nyman, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward return for the West End production, which opens on 15 September with previews from 30 August.

Before you book

Age guidance is 13+. Children aged 14 and below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over and sit in seats next to each other. The production includes scenes of a sexual nature, references to Adolf Hitler and Nazis, strobe effects and loud sound effects including gunshots.

Your e-ticket will be emailed by Nimax Theatres only after you complete the online check-in process, which begins approximately 72 hours before the performance. If you cannot confirm that there is no reason you or anyone in your party cannot attend, you will be given details on how to exchange; exchange requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the performance start time. The box office states no refunds.
