About This Event

The Real Thing will perform at the Jazz Cafe in London on January 1, 2027, at 18:30. The band was formed in 1972 and is Britain's longest-established Black group in UK entertainment history. They are best known for their hit songs. The show's ticket price is available on the venue's website.

Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain’s longest-established – and one of the most beloved – Black groups in UK entertainment history.

Best known for their iconic No. 1 hit ‘You To Me Are Everything’, alongside timeless classics like ‘Can’t Get By Without You’, ‘Children of the Ghetto’, they remain true pioneers of British soul, funk and dance music.

Featuring original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, the band celebrate over half a century since their breakthrough with a live show that proves their sound remains as powerful as ever.
