The Royal Jam - 'music of The Crusaders'

Tasked with articulating the distinguished and so very recognisable piano groove and technique of Crusaders' founder, the great Joe Sample, is the wonderful keyboards talent from Italy Lorenzo Campese (Incognito, Nik West, Citrus Sun) and Lorenzo’s virtuoso playing style works beautifully in achieving just that. With such an enviable body of work to choose from it means a wealth of celebrated Crusaders tracks for this top-class line-up to explore. The band’s inaugural performance was to open the Southend Jazz Festival, followed by many Ronnie Scott’s Club appearances, EFG London Jazz Festival 2025 and numerous London area jazz clubs.
