Tour of St Bride Foundation St Bride Foundation , located behind Fleet Street, houses the history of print and the skills that made Fleet Street the undisputed home of printing and publishing in London. Housed in a beautiful Victorian structure from 1891, the Foundation serves to maintain its extensive printing press library, while also using its resources and support to promote research, education, and the arts. Originally set up to serve the trade of nearby Fleet Street, the Foundation now offers a wide range of workshops and design events to any and all interested in printing. Come tour our printing workshop, historic rooms, and famous library. Get the chance to view some of the items in the library’s special collection, and learn more about the Foundation and its significant place in the illustrious history of the printing press trade. Perfect for designers, printmakers, or just lovers of history. Due to the constraints of our Grade II listed building, the workshop is currently only accessible by 14 steps, from our 14 Bride Lane entrance.
