Viking skull formed in 2002 from members of Raging SpeedHorn.

Viking Skull is an English stoner metal/rock band from Corby.  Known for a high-octane, whiskey-fueled sound reminiscent of Motörhead and Black Sabbath

A band who have existed for some years and are fast becoming known as one of the best rock outfits around. Combining the riffage of rock legends like AC/DC and Black Sabbath with their own unique style, both live and on record they're a band not to be missed. They've even been called the 'Perfect Festival Band' by Kerrang magazine.

Members: The band features vocalist/guitarist Frank Regan, guitarists Dom Wallace and Az Hastings, bassist Larry Connolly, and drummer Gordon Morrison.

History: Founded by members of Raging Speedhorn along with their roadie (Roddy Stone) and merchandiser ("Waldie"), they were initially meant as a "semi-comedic" support band. After a hiatus (2012-2015), they returned to active duty.

Key Releases: Notable releases include the debut EP Chapter One (2003)—which garnered a rare 11/10 review from Metal Hammer—and full-length albums Born in Hell (2005) and Cursed by the Sword (2012).

Style: Their sound is described as a "whiskey-spewing concoction" of heavy metal and stoner rock, frequently drawing comparisons to Motörhead, Black Sabbath, and ZZ Top.

They have toured extensively, appearing at the Download Festival and playing with acts such as Dio, Alice Cooper, Clutch, CKY and HIM
