Over roughly three hours, forty guests are led through a sequence of "experiences". Sound, scent, light, movement and live physical interaction through an enormous set. Phones are surrendered at the door. Status and small talk fall away. What remains is a shared passage through the unfamiliar — disorienting, intimate, and quietly profound. Every chapter is built on a single human idea. Chapter Five takes its name from the Kaihogyo, the thousand-day mountain marathon undertaken by Japan's Tendai monks in pursuit of enlightenment — a ritual of endurance and surrender.
