🌞 BANK HOLIDAY ESCAPE — RYE, CAMBER SANDS & JAZZ! 🎷🏖️

Join us for a wonderful Bank Holiday day out to beautiful Rye in East Sussex — one of England’s most picturesque and historic towns.

Perched on a hill above the surrounding countryside, Rye is full of character: medieval buildings, secret passageways, cobbled lanes, ancient inns and wonderful views. We’ll have time to explore before setting off on our walk towards the coast.

And there’s an extra treat! 🎷✨ Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival is taking place over the Bank Holiday, so we’ll allow time to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some of the free live performances taking place around town. 🎶😊

The festival brings Rye alive over the Bank Holiday with musicians and performances around the town. We’ll take some time out from our day to enjoy any free performances and soak up the festival atmosphere.

🚆 MEETING & TRAVEL

Meet at St Pancras International, Platforms 11–13 ( South Eastern platforms up escalators) at 9am , ready for the 9.40 train.

Arrival into Rye at 10.46. Rye day return.

Group saver can be bought at the platform but there is only one person selling tickets with a portable machine so takes a bit longer. Also there are ticket machines.)

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a sun hat, comfortable walking shoes and something for your picnic.

And, of course… a Frisbee! 😉🥏
