About Witness for the Prosecution County Hall

Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall is an immersive staging of Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama. The story follows Leonard Vole, who is accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth, as testimony is heard and the jury is asked to decide whether he is guilty.

Now in its seventh year, the production places the audience in the thick of the action as the case unfolds around a courtroom setting on London’s South Bank. The actors perform in the aisles while the audience remains seated throughout.

Duration: 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.

Age guidance: parental guidance. Babes in arms are not permitted. Latecomers may not be admitted, and photography is not permitted.

Gallery seats are not suitable for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs or for vertigo sufferers.

The entrance for Witness for the Prosecution is on Belvedere Road. London County Hall is on the South Bank of the River Thames beside the London Eye and Westminster Bridge, opposite the Houses of Parliament. Nearest Tube stations: Waterloo and Westminster. Nearest main line station: Waterloo. From Waterloo station, follow the exit signs towards Southbank/County Hall attractions, then continue towards York Road and walk a few minutes; County Hall will be on your left.
