About Witness for the Prosecution County Hall

Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall is an immersive Agatha Christie production now in its seventh year. The story follows Leonard Vole, accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth, as witness testimony raises questions about his innocence.

The audience is placed in the thick of the action as the courtroom case unfolds around them. The prosecution and defence battle it out while witnesses take to the stand, with actors performing in the aisles and the audience remaining seated throughout.

The production has captured the imagination of thousands and is staged on London’s Southbank.

Running time: 2 hours 20 minutes, including one interval.

The venue is on the South Bank of the River Thames beside the London Eye and Westminster Bridge, opposite the Houses of Parliament. Nearest Tube stations are Waterloo and Westminster, with Waterloo the nearest main line station. The entrance to Witness for the Prosecution is on Belvedere Road; from Waterloo, follow signs towards Southbank/County Hall attractions, then signs to York Road and walk a few minutes along the road.
