About St. Mary's Church
St. Mary's Islington is a church in London that was nearly destroyed by a bomb on September 9, 1940, during the Blitz. The remaining tower and spire were used as an opportunity to rebuild the venue into a 5,000 cubic metre space designed by John Seely and Paul Paget for evangelical worship.
