The venueAbout The Old Crown Pub
Tucked away on New Oxford Street in London's West End, The Old Crown Pub offers a classic pub setting distinct from the surrounding commercial hub. This establishment regularly hosts comedy shows such as those presented by the Bear Hug Comedy Club, creating an atmosphere where audiences gather to enjoy stand-up performances in a relaxed environment. While exact capacity figures are not publicly listed, the venue maintains an intimate feel typical of smaller London comedy clubs, fostering close connection between performers and patrons. The acoustic nature of the space is optimised for spoken word entertainment rather than amplified music, ensuring clear audio for comedians addressing seated or standing crowds.
