Antenatal Workshop for expectant mothers.

For first time parents to be. 1 ticket will cover 1 attendee.

This session is for Central Bedfordshire residents only.

Central Bedfordshire’s Bump, Birth and Baby Stuff is a collaborative approach to providing seamless antenatal care to first time expectant parents who live in Central Bedfordshire.

This is an antenatal day course for pregnant women and partners from 30 weeks pregnant.

The session will be delivered in partnership with the Baby Friendly Team, Children’s Centre Team and Midwife Team. All personal data you provide at time of booking will be shared with these teams. For any further information you can talk to the teams at the event.

Topics covered include:

• Responsive Feeding

• Caring for our babies

• Play, development and responsive parenting

• Planning and getting ready

• Your health and wellbeing

During the baby friendly session when looking at infant feeding you will have the opportunity to try out different feeding positions under the guidance of the facilitators. We ask therefore that if possible you bring along a doll, or a teddy along that would be brilliant.

This is a free session, but booking is required. Booking one ticket will cover one adult. If your partner/friend would like to attend they need to book a ticket to please. This will allow us to be sure how many are attending to ensure we have the correct numbers. Thank you for your help with this.

Unfortunately, no children can attend.

Parking at the Children’s Centre - We do have a small carpark that does get full quick, but there is parking on the road.

Houghton Regis Children’s Centre has on site toilets, access to refreshments (donations welcome). You are welcome to bring your own food, we have a fridge to store food in if needed.
