Join Us for Climate and Creation Sunday!

Come and listen to the Hodsons speak about the current state of our climate and consider what we can do to make a difference to protect our precious planet. There will be two lectures followed by refreshments, then smaller groups for discussions on key topics.

This event is organised by the Kensworth, Studham and Whipsnade Eco-church Group.

Dr Martin J Hodson is a plant scientist and environmental biologist, and a former Principal Lecturer, and now Visiting Researcher at Oxford Brookes University. He is also Associate Member of the Institute of Human Sciences at the University of Oxford. Martin is Principal Tutor of Christian Rural and Environmental Studies. The tour scientist for the Hope for Planet Earth tours, he writes and speaks widely on environmental issues.

Revd Margot R Hodson is Director of Theology and Education at the John Ray Initiative, and is focused on teaching and researching how faith, community and the environment connect. She is associate tutor for Environmental Theology at Ripon College, Cuddesdon and All Nations Christian College. Margot is ordained in the Anglican Church and has previously been Rector of Wychert Vale in Buckinghamshire and Chaplain of Jesus College, Oxford. She is a member of Grove Ethics Committee; Chairs the steering group of the Theological Colleges Environment Network (TCEN) and is on the Glebe Committee of the Oxford Diocese.
